Short Run Book Printing – Silver Lining

Our previous article on Short Run Book Printing talked about the book cover design process. Today, we would like to talk about a very worthy cause and the book we just published for a client, Bill Hahn, who needed an organ transplant.  The book is a testimonial told in prayer, poetry, song, spoken word and video of the author’s journey through the organ transplant experience. In his book, Bill also wished to express his gratitude to all organ donors and their families and encourage others to register as donors. Bill’s book can be purchased at Amazon and you can view a video of his story on Youtube

An organ donor can save 8 different lives and improve the lives of up to 50 people by donating tissues and corneas. The registration process can be done very simply through your local state or through your local DMV. For more information you might like to visit the sites of these other organizations  TransLife, and more specific to kidney disease, the National Kidney Foundation

The front and back covers of the book were designed by Roxann Morin, a very talented graphic designer from Palm Bay, Florida.  A press release to raise awareness on the importance of registering to become an organ donor was recently published.
